We are seeking support of our development and opening of a professionally operated gun range in Leitchfield, Kentucky. This project represents an opportunity to strengthen our local economy, promote firearm safety and education, support veterans, and create meaningful community programs for residents of all ages.

This facility will be half veteran-owned and operated, bringing leadership, discipline, and a strong commitment to responsibility and public safety. The owners intend to create a positive, family-friendly environment centered on education, training, and community involvement.

The proposed gun range will provide several important benefits to Leitchfield and the surrounding area:

• Creation of 150–175 local jobs by the end of Year 4, including positions in operations, instruction, maintenance, retail, administration, hospitality, and community outreach.

• Increased economic activity through tourism, sporting, events, training programs, and partnerships with local businesses.

• Veteran-focused outreach programs designed to support former service members through recreation, mentorship, fellowship, and skill development.

• Youth education and safety initiatives that emphasize responsible firearm handling, respect, discipline, and safe sportsmanship under trained supervision.

• Community firearm safety courses for first-time gun owners, concealed carry education, hunter safety, and emergency preparedness.

• A safe, controlled environment for legal firearm use and training, reducing unsafe or improper firearm practices.

• Opportunities for law enforcement and first responders to utilize local training facilities without traveling outside the county.

• Development of family-friendly sporting events and competitions that encourage tourism and positive community engagement.

This project is not simply about building a gun range — it is about creating a responsible community resource focused on safety, education, economic growth, and support for veterans and families.
